Simple lifestyle changes did it!

Because I have been on so many diets over the years, it’s taken me quite awhile to reset my mind to the concepts of R3. After five years of “dabbling” at it, I was
determined that this time it would be different.

And it was.

I have rid myself of those size 20 clothes that no longer fit because I’ll never go back…and I will never be done with this lifestyle change!
I’m not worried about ‘going back’ because I’m living the healthier lifestyle…and it feels GREAT! I might have been the turtle in the race, but
we all know how that story ends.

I can now say: “Don’t give up…make this a forever change…keep active. TRUST.THE.PROCESS!”

I did and these photos show the difference in me.

May 2022. Vacationing in Turks and Caicos with friends.
Traveling with a broken shoulder and excess weight is never
fun. I had just lost 10 pounds but it truly didn’t show.

This is when I made my decision to accept the June 2022
R3 Challenge.

June 6 2022 was the start date.

July 18, 2022 the challenge ended.
I came in second place for my age group having lost 25 pounds.
I kept following the plan and the weight kept coming off.

December 31, 2022.
Six months and three weeks later,
I reached my goal weight: 135 pounds.
R3 has now become a lifestyle, as it’s now January 2024 and I am
still the same weight 135 pounds.

For me this is a lifestyle not a diet.
