Can I Slow Down The Aging Process?

Yes, you can.

Telomeres are the protective caps, located at the ends of chromosomes. They play a critical role when it comes to healthy aging.

But what can we do to extend those telomeres?

  • One study found that daily vitamin D supplemen-tation helps to minimize the shortening of telomeres, which happens as people get older, and thus may protect against diseases tied to age and biological aging.
  • The data suggested that vitamin D’s effects on a cellular level would be equal to a three-year decrease in aging.

Always request your Vitamin D labs so you can keep an eye on this important marker.
Your goal?
Always over 50 and ideally over 60 and beyond!

Day 4: Pre Spot Stain Remover

Because you have kids who play sports. Because you’re running a thousand miles an hour this holiday season and spills and stains happen.
PreSpot is a plant-based nontoxic spot treatment that gets all of the stains out, regularly.
It’s great to have on hand for quick clean ups. I carry a PreSpot stain stick in my purse at all times as I never know when I’m going to need it. I’ve watched red wine and blood stains disappear in front of my eyes with this little gem.

This year, everyone will be getting the PreSpot stain stick in their stockings!

$6.99 for the concentrate which makes two large spray bottles at a cost of $3.49 each.

“Dawn Dish Soap has not one but THREE ingredients that cause cancer. It smells as toxic as ever, especially once you haven’t used it for awhile.

Mrs. Meyers; The Honest Co.; Method; Burt’s Bees and Seventh Generation have all sold out to toxic big name brands who don’t give a rats behind about you. The companies: Branch Basics, Truly Free, and Ecos all have pending lawsuits.

Reason #696935 we shop where we do and have for 20 years: American made, won’t EVER sell out, and has never had a lawsuit or recall on any ingredient in 40 YEARS.

Think about it, $1.17 cleaners, $19 laundry detergent that lasts months, a $6 facial scrub, vitamins that actually absorb and work, and a company that really does care.”

Don’t you think it’s time you got on board?

Day 3: Healthy Simply Fit Baking Mixes

I like a lot of protein in my house and I need quick, healthy meals—breakfast included.
I use this mix for pancakes and waffles. Think Kodiak Cakes, but better. Simply Fit baking mixes offer 15 grams of protein, are gluten free, sugar free and have become a family favorite. I even make them ahead and freeze them for an even quicker breakfast when I’m in a hurry. I warm up the frozen Pancakes for one minute in the microwave and I pop the waffles in the toaster add a little butter and /or syrup and a healthy breakfast is ready to get me through my holiday errands,

By the way, Simply Fit also makes Muffin mixes and Double Chocolate Brownie mix too.
$17.99 for 23.5 ounce bag.

Day 2: Mela-Out Magnesium

Because we all need a good quality magnesium for a million reasons. Drinking Mela-Out Magnesium will help you relax and feel calmer so you can better manage everyday stress.*

Mela-Out was developed for maximum absorption. When you feel stressed, your nervous system releases hormones that cause your muscles to become tense, your heart to pound faster, and your breath to quicken.

Magnesium relieves muscle tension, which has a dramatic impact on the level of stress you feel. Magnesium also promotes digestive regularity, helps relieve restlessness, improves sleep, and even minimizes cramping after exertion.*

In short…calm mind, better sleep and better recovery from all your holiday plans. I know I Stress less with magnesium as nature intended with Mela-Out.

Day 1: Clear Defense Hand Sanitizer

Am I seriously posting about hand sanitizer?
Yes, Yes I am.

I am because I absolutely loathe public restrooms and I want to avoid any “bug” that could potentially interfere with my immune system. Keeping hands sanitized can help prevent colds and flu.
Clear Defense is 97% plant based, kills 99.99% of germs while moisturizing. Plus, it smells absolutely amazing. This is my first line of defense when holiday shopping and for all my holiday plans.

OSTEOARTHRITIS vs RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Ever wondered how osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis differ? Both can cause joint pain and stiffness, but they have distinct causes and treatment approaches. Understanding these differences is key to managing symptoms effectively BUT knowing the proper nutrition path can help one live a life free of pain and discomfort.
When one is first diagnosed with a disease, it’s easy/normal to feel weak, to feel like a victim, to question “why me”. But when I discovered the huge role that nutrition plays when it comes to fighting and overcoming disease, I felt inspired. This knowledge, this truth of proper nutrition can allow you to truly take charge of your health once and for all.

If you have a medical diagnosis that requires treatment, please know your doctor most likely will NOT give you a protocol of proper nutrition to go alongside it. WHY? Because …..

  • They were never educated on nutrition
  • They treat you the way the insurance industry tells them to treat you
  • The insurance company does not want nutrition to be part of their protocol because they don’t make any money on that!

I can’t give medical advice but I certainly can help build a plan of attack to boost your immune system and address symptoms.
If you need assistance, please ask! I’m only a zoom away and you’d be shocked at how much you can learn that will positively impact your future health!

You’d Be Surprised By What’s In Your Everyday Products!

When you learn what’s actually hiding in most “everyday” products, it changes everything.

Let’s talk about three big ones: Parabens, Phthalates, and Formaldehyde.

  • 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐬 are used to keep products from going bad. The problem is, they can act like estrogen in the body and have been linked to hormone disruption. They’ve even been found in breast tissue samples.
  • 𝐏𝐡𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 are what make scents and plastics flexible. They’re common in fragrance heavy products like lotions, candles, and cleaning sprays. The issue is that they’ve been tied to fertility problems and developmental issues, especially in children.
  • 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐞 is sometimes added directly or released slowly from preservatives in shampoos, baby soaps, and cosmetics. It’s a known carcinogen and can irritate your skin, eyes, and lungs over time. In fact, it was in Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Shampoo until 2016!

The crazy part is that these ingredients are still allowed in so many “trusted” brands. Most likely, you’ll find several of them under your counters and in your bathroom drawers.

As consumers, it’s important that we educate ourselves on trusted ingredients, brands and stores. We all need safer ingredients that actually work.

Once you learn what’s in most products, you realize switching isn’t extra… it’s essential. Personally, I found that making the switch to healthier brands didn’t have to cost me more money; I actually saved money. Imagine that.

Be a smart and savvy consumer—pay attention to ingredients and switch when and where necessary
