It’s crazy to think that plants are this powerful! Twenty years ago I would have pulled out the Clorox and not thought twice about the warning label. Today I took a better Ecosense way and look at the results—they look new!

Today, I’m sharing what our Shopper Tina S. shared with us.
“Since today is laundry day, I thought I’d share what we’ve been using for many years. I get it from our online shopping club and it is amazing!
It uses a pump that is pre-measured so it takes all the guess work out of doing the laundry. It’s super concentrated, so you only need one third of an ounce per load which means I’m saving lots of money…and there aren’t any of the harsh chemicals to give us skin issues, breathing problems or make us sick.
I love this laundry line because of how affordable it is and how well it works. I cannot get enough of the scent either—the Lavender scent is my favorite.
I will never go back to those other brands EVER!
It costs only $19.49 for 96 loads which makes me One Happy Shopper!

Did you know that 90% of the energy used for a load of laundry comes from heating the water? Not washing the laundry—heating the water!
Luckily for me, my favorite non-toxic laundry detergent is designed to work in any water temperature, so ! can wash my things in cold tap water and save around $22 to $25 per month on my electric bill. Not to mention my non-toxic detergent is also a lot less expensive than Tide, and you only need a small amount per load.
Like I always say, some swaps just make life easier—better for your home, your wallet, and the planet!

These jeans were filthy! Would they ever come clean?
See for yourself.
I pre-treated with Pre-Spot and then gave them a good spray with my fabulous all-purpose cleaner, Soul-U-Mel, and then two pumps of Mountain Fresh Mela Power!
I think it worked. I love these products!

What is affecting your skin?

Before I started my healthy journey, I was oblivious at the fact that everything added to the laundry wash and dry cycle is ABSORBED into our skin.
Thinking about that makes my skin crawl…especially after recently hearing about the cancer-causing toxins found in Aveeno and Neutrogena products.
My laundry soap, scent booster, stain remover, bleach alternative, fabric softener and dryer sheets from my online shopping club are all eco-friendly,
non-toxic and scented only with essential oils!
I will never judge anyone else’s choices, because I am far from perfect. but I will try to encourage you to join me in trying to do better. If I could encourage you to swap one item to a safer alternative I would start with your laundry line. Detergent, fabric softener, melaboost, and dryer sheets!

I can’t share this often enough. I think it’s the best, You see, it only takes one pump per load. This petite container? It does 96 loads.
No junk ingredients. No fillers and it’s highly concentrated.
It’s also the only stuff I will use for products that touch my family member’s skin! Smells heavenly and is excellent on hard stains!
Every month of the year every dollar counts.

Tide — .42 cents a load.

Dreft — .41 cents a load.

Melapower — .20 cents a load.

Works better too. What more can I say?

Did you know toxins can be found in many brand name Fabric Softeners:?
It’s true. I was surprised when I found out that one potentially carcinogenic chemicals could be in my laundry.
Clothing and blankets that touch our skin and who doesn’t inhale that fresh clean fabric scent?
Her’s a list of chemicals that can be found in Snuggles brand fabric softener:

• Alpha-Terpineol – Linked to disorders of the brain and nervous system, loss of muscle control, depression, and headaches
• Benzyl acetate – Linked to cancer of the pancreas
• Benzyl alcohol – Linked to headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, depression, and disorders of the brain and nervous system.
• Chloroform- Listed on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list as a carcinogen and neurotoxin (toxic to the brain and nervous system)
•Ethanol –Listed on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list for its ability to cause brain and nervous system disorder
• Ethyl Acetate – Causes headaches and is on the EPA Hazardous Waste list
• Linalool – Causes loss of muscle coordination, nervous system and brain disorders, and depression
• Pentane – Causes headaches nausea, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, and depression

I just want you to know Safer options are a switch away.
