Hard work outweighs talent every single time! Success is a choice!

Talk less, listen more: True power lies in understanding, which can only come when we listen more and talk less.

Save money at the pumps

Here are some tips on how to save money at the pumps! Get the most out of your gas dollars.

Tip #1: Only buy or fill up your car or truck in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold.
Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground the more dense the gasoline, when it gets warmer gasoline expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening….your gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products plays an important role.

A one-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business—service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

Tip #2: When you’re filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to a fast mode.
If you look you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. You should be pumping on low mode, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you’re getting less for your money.

Tip #3: One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is HALF FULL.
The reason for this is the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster than you can imagine. Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the gas and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, most trucks are loaded and have temperature compensated so that every gallon is actually the exact amount.

Tip #4: If there is a gasoline truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy gas, DO NOT fill up; most likely the gasoline is being stirred up as the gas is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

And lastly, put a smile on your face. ..at least you have a vehicle and the money to put gas in it.

Judge less, accept more: Acceptance opens up doors and hearts. Let’s be more accepting and less judgmental.

Time invested in one area is time taken away from another.

Tour the Store

Nineteen years ago I made the switch. Now purchase my products from a US-Based Manufacturer.
This manufacturer has been in business for more than 37 years and have an A+ Rating with the BBB and NEVER have they had to pay out a liability claim like other huge corporations who produce household products.

The products are manufactured fresh every single month and are shipped straight to my door. These products are safer, cleaner and affordable. It was a no-brainer for me and hundreds of other families who have made the switch with me.

Trust and believe me; if I didn’t think these items were safe, they wouldn’t be in my home. With my allergies and other health issues, I know I need to be aware of my health, nutrition and fitness EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Plus, I am passionate about helping people and and animals. I only want the very BEST for us all, and this little box you see right here on this page. It’s my Wellness Box and how I bring Wellness into my home and to my family.

Shop. Click. Ship .

I am doing a live Zoom Tour of the Store at 4PM ET, 3PM CT, 1PM MT. on Tuesday, October 3. Contact me to get the link.

THE NEW YORK STRIP VS. THE RIBEYE:

From Frank VanderSloot

I have been blown away with the excitement around Riverbend Ranch Black Label Beef! With already tens of thousands of subscribers, I am often asked whether I recommend the Ribeye bundle or the New York Strip bundle. My answer: Both are great steaks! But I much prefer the New York Strip because it has just as much marbling and flavor but has less fat. The Ribeye has a vein of fat that extends up through the middle of the Ribeye. That’s why many prefer the New York Strip. The New York Strip is also a more appropriate portion size for most people. It also has less calories!

I am not alone. Many steak lovers choose the New York Strip. Those who want the flavor without the extra fat are happier with the New York Strip! Fortunately, my preferences also align with Belinda’s. She loves the flavor of a well-marbled steak, but she doesn’t like seeing extra fat on her beef. Therefore, she greatly prefers the New York Strip as well. She believes that many women have the same preference. I think she is right about that, like she is on so many things!

Tip of the day

When you wake up in the morning, pray to ask God’s guidance for your purpose today.

Danger Lurking in Your Cabinets

Many pop;ar cleaning products can harm you and your families. Sure, they clean and leave your house smelling great and fresh, but they can also mess with the neurons in your brain and nervous system. Many of their ingredients are hormone disruptors, Yup, that’s right, you heard right. These ingredients love to be absorbed your body’s stored fat along with you largest organ, your skin!

I’m ever so grateful for a dear friendr who recommended I try out a shop club that she used. She believed it would help me live a true wellness lifestyle. What she told me made so much sense, that I decided to shop for the things I’ve been shopping for at the local big box stores.

I pinch myself from time to time to think about how I made this decision to switch stores nearly 20 years ago. Honestly, this shop club has kept me healthier than ever and saved me tons of money over the years.

So, as I share this life changing shop club with others, it surprises me how stuck they are on traditional poisonous products that do more harm than good. I have found that educating the end consumer is what I’m suppose to do. I pray for hearts to be open to learn that what you breathe in matters.

What a difference shopping healthier products makes! I love shopping here, and all the information I’ve learned over the last 20 years! Dangerous things should come with warning labels, but often they don’t.
I’m so glad there’s a one-stop shop for better safer products for me and my family.

Often, we don’t see the harm these products cause until many years later. Every so often, I hear a new illness has been linked to the use of these common every day home products. Educating people on how ingredients matter isn’t an easy task. But possible for those who are  tired of being tired to try a safer brand.
