It’s that time of year

Make sure you are building up your immune system and using products that don’t damage your lungs or give you other underlying conditions.

J like to use product that I feel are safe for me my home and my family.

These are a few favorite back-to-school essentials I recommend:

• Sol-U-Guard Botanical Wipes — This product kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on hard, nonporous surfaces. It replaces the more toxic Chlorox and Lysol brand wipes.

• Sol-U-Mel — Sol-U-Mel removes stains from items like Sharpie markers, juices, chocolate and wine. It’s great for cleaning white boards.

Both products are non-toxic and eco-friendly.

• Activate-C Immune Complex — Similar to Airborne and other Vitamin C powders but takes it a step further with 1200mg of Vitamin C! Most of the other brands show they contain only 1000mg. Activate-C also comes in orange and reminds me of my childhood favorite — Tang. This Activate Immune Complex boosts your body’s immune system naturally as well.

• Vitamin D3 — This vitamin supports a healthy immune system as well as bone health and overall mood.

• Luminex — A natural alternative, Luminex promotes emotional health, a balanced mood, and general well being..

• Mela-Out — containing magnesium, Mela-Out reduces stress, increases calmness and can help you sleep better.

Clean savings!

I don’t know about you but my frugal self will always try to save money wherever I can—especially with this crazy inflation.

Last year, I happily purchases some household goods from my favorite online wellness store. The package arrived two days later. My favorite product wa part of the order it comes in concentrated form. This small bottle concentrate costs $6.99, but when mixed as directed, makes six spray bottles of full-strength cleaner. This makes it so economical— at $1.16 per spray bottle. That’s less than what you’d pay at the Dollar Tree.

It’s time for me to reorder this all-purpose cleaner and I still don’t have to go to the store for it and I know it will be here in two or three days.

I love these kind of savings!

Use Tub & Tile to remove stubborn, old, set-in underarm stains.
Simply spray Tub & Tile directly on the stains, let sit for 5 to 10 minutes, and wash as normal.

Yes, this is all it takes for a load of laundry.
I know, it’s pretty impressive.
It’s a good thing because I have about a thousand more loads today after being gone for a two week road trip.

Did you know most liquid laundry detergents are full of water? Check your ingredients! Not only will you be unable to pronounce most of them but WATER is usually the first one! That’s just another reason I love this concentrate—I don’t have to pay for the water I already pay for! It’s super affordable for a container that can clean 96-loads, plus the compact size makes it easy to lift and carry. I ordered my detergent today and it will be here in two days! Amazon prime doesn’t hold a candle to this deal.

What makes it special for me is that it contains:

• No Formaldehyde or Carcinogens

• No Harsh chemicals

It is so much safer for me, safer for my family and better for us all because it’s all made right here in the USA.

Draft baby detergent, is’s good, right? Well, not necessarily. Many of you probably use a different detergent for your baby’s clothes, and you probably assume this detergent is a special formulation. This is very rarely the case

Any laundry detergent you use will leave a residue on clothing and linens, which is then inhaled and absorbed (via skin) by the people who come in contact with it…and most conventional detergents, be they marketed for baby clothes or grownup clothes, contain some combination of the following:

• synthetic detergents, which are often made of petrochemicals;

• phenols (established endocrine disruptors, of which BPA is the most notorious);

• fragrance, which often contains phthalates;

• optical brighteners, which are often made from benzene, a definite carcinogen;

• bleach, which contains chlorine (an environmental toxin–and possibly a carcinogen and endocrine disruptor);

• phosphates, which break down minerals and render detergent more effective, at the cost of harmful environmental ramifications.

Another wellness store tip…

This is one tip that I’ve used in my home for several years now.
MelaBoost is a laundry fragrance booster that my entire family loves. When the bottle is empty, I fill it up halfway with water and give it a good shake. I mix a few capfuls of rubbing alcohol with it to help it evaporate after I spraying. I had a spare Reivie spray bottle so I decided to use that and wrote “Boost” on the side so I know what I’m grabbing.
So now you are probably wondering, what the heck do I use it for? Well, this is the best way to use every last drop of MelaBoost and I use it as a room refresher spray on soft surfaces, such as the couch; carpet; curtains; blankets; dog beds; and beds. It helps everything smell like heaven and not a a drop of this goodness is wasted!

Twenty years ago I ditched toxic cleaners and household products. I had no idea how harmful they were until my toddler nephew came close to getting into the cabinet under the sink—you know, the one where you keep all of your cleaning products.

Even with safety latches in place and near constant supervision he came close to being seriously harmed or possibly worse.

Every day reputable studies are telling us how dangerous the ingredients in our cleaners and personal products are. What are you waiting for? I don’t care what company or products you switch to, I just want you to switch!
