Loving what I do

Out of all of the careers I’ve had, helping others to reach their goals physically, mentally and financially is the best choice I have ever made!!

To say the R3 program has been a game changer for me is an understatement.
R3 has significantly improved the quality of my life in not only managing my tremendous weight loss three years ago, but it has also improved my energy levels, sleep habits and my mood. I’m happier now and know those one-hundred-plus pounds are NEVER coming back.

Recently, I was invited to join a weekly “Wellness Zoom Party” with five other R3 Coaches. We all took turns sharing advice, tips and the impact it’s made on our individual lives. There were so many remarkable success stories as well as non-scale victory stories told. Hearing how this program has changed the lives of so many others, fuels me to continue to share R3 with as many people as I am able.

Testosterone

Testosterone plays a key role for both men and women. It impacts muscle and bone mass, red blood cell production and sexual characteristics. It also influences sexual drive, mood, and even body fat distribution.
I recently learned a shocking statistic:
The average 26 year-old man has the testosterone of a 65 year-old man from previous generations.
Yes, testosterone declines as we get older due to stress, lack of exercise and exposure to toxins, but that stat is scary.

For women worried about osteoporosis, taking testosterone is a proactive way to help prevent it. But if you are a woman and you want to take a testosterone supplement, I recommend you get your labs done first. Then if you do want to take a testosterone supplement, start slow. Maybe a half dose every other day.

Remember, this is a hormone that we want to keep balanced. You don’t want it too low but you don’t want it too high either.

𝙏𝙍𝙄𝙂𝙂𝙀𝙍 𝙒𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂

II don’t normally address rumors, but this one? It’s too important for me to ignore. Millions benefit from this store and the misinformation needs to stop.

Sidenote: I hear about this very little these days but even a couple of rumors over the course of 20 years is enough for me to say something. And I also want to add that I don’t condone how some people may go about sharing this store. A good tip for anybody that wants to share something they love: Be a good friend and share genuinely and authentically! But like anything else, a bad experience with a person can ruin something that’s actually really great and that sucks!

“𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙.”
Let’s be real, I love my nontoxic cleaners, but I also get Botox. I buy organic, then hit a drive-thru to avoid cooking. To those folks managing a fully nontoxic lifestyle—you never ever even have a goldfish cracker ever? I admire you! Most of us are just doing our best, and I’ll never shame anyone for choosing convenience in one area just because it’s not my area.
That said, every now and then, someone will send me an oudated article from 2013 or a random mom group post bashing the store I love. Sad fact: I don’t even share my eczema solution in those groups anymore because some people are just brutal.
Or my favorite…people trusting the EWG app, which literally gives better ratings to companies that pay them.

“𝘽𝙪𝙩 t𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙨!”
My response? “What’s your concern with fragrances?”
Because here’s the thing, the real issue is phthalates, and these products contain zero. Also zero parabens, zero formaldehyde, zero bleach, zero ammonia, zero harmful dyes. The ingredient philosophy is public. Anyone willing to read it would know the facts.

𝙈𝙊𝙍𝙀 𝙁𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙎:
A friend’s son’s severe allergies improved so much he got off meds.
I, who am allergic to almost everything, have zero issues with these products.
My eczema? Gone.
My skin? One of my most-complimented features, thanks to these products that start working from within. Gut health is important!
These product are not just safe, they’re effective, affordable, American-made from a patriot-owned store and arrive at my door within a couple of days!

A store that’s been around for 40 years with a 96% customer retention rate and an A+ BBB rating doesn’t get there by selling garbage.

𝘽𝙊𝙏𝙏𝙊𝙈 𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙀:
You have every right to dislike something. But regurgitating false rumors about a store that’s been a lifeline for so many? Nope, not a good idea..

Hot Day Hydration

Hot days! Over 90’s! I am getting hydrated! Here’s a Public Service Announcement for anyone melting in this 100-degree heat:

If you’re only drinking water…congratulations, it’s great. But, unfortunately, you may still pass out from heat and dehydration. What you actually need is: Electrolytes. Electrolytes are your summer lifeline. Electrolytes are not just a “gym thing.” They’re not just a “sports drink” thing. Electrolytes make sure you don’t-end-up-face-first-in-the-yard thing.

You want the holy hydration trinity:
Potassium (for muscle + heart function)
Magnesium (for cramps + mood)
Calcium (for nerve function)
Not a product with 500mg of sodium in a fluorescent blue bottle.

That’s why I like Sustain. Sustain has four electrolytes with vitamins C, E and B12! It also has six grams of sugar!
Sustain has sugar because that touch of glucose helps your cells better absorb all that hydration goodness.

If you get too much salt? You bloat.
Too little potassium? You cramp like a banshee.
No magnesium? Welcome to twitchy-town and mood swings.
If you get no electrolytes at all? Enjoy your front-row seat to heat stroke, dizziness, and possibly crying in the Kroger parking lot.

Pro tip: To hydrate properly, you need 100mg sodium and ditch the junk. You don’t need dyes, chemicals, or a sugar crash pretending to hydrate you.

After all, Hydration isn’t just water. It’s electrically charged survival.

That’s why I drink Sustain.

Making the safe choice, comes easy when you know

Ever feel like choosing safer products for your home and family automatically means spending more?
Let’s take a moment to clear that up that idea. You know, at first, I thought going the safer route would cost a fortune. But once I compared prices, I was pretty shocked.

Doe example, take a look at some current Walmart prices vs. my Online Wellness Store:

WalmartOnline Wellness Store
Native deodorant – $12.97Wellness Store – $5.49
Lume deodorant – $14.97Wellness Store – $5.49
Windex – $3.48 (1 bottle)Wellness Store Clear Power – $6.99 (6 bottles)
Downy Scent boosters – $15.97 (24oz)Wellness Store Boost! – $11.99 (32oz)

That’s just a small sample of what’s available at my online store. It’s not just cleaner and safer—it’s honestly more affordable—and the convenience? Ships right to my door (usually faster than Prime!) Plus, they’re always throwing in free gifts just for shopping.

I like to say I’m Shopping better while saving money

Hot Tubs vs Saunas

Hot tubs and saunas can both soothe aching muscles and provide welcome warmth, but hot tubs might offer greater health benefits.

A study found that soaking in hot water raises core body temperature more than dry or infrared saunas, triggering stronger heart, blood vessel, and immune responses.

That’s the takeaway from a new study done by researchers in the Bowerman Sports Science Center at the University of Oregon, which compared the physiological effects of soaking in a hot tub to sitting in a traditional dry heat sauna or a more modern far-infrared sauna.

Researchers monitored body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, cardiac output (the amount of blood the heart pumps per minute) and immune cell populations and blood biomarkers of inflammation. Data were collected before, during and after subjects soaked in a hot tub and sat in traditional dry heat and far-infrared saunas.

All three options are effective but hot tubs fared better because:
hot water immersion gives you the most robust changes in core temperature. We can’t effectively dissipate heat as we can if we have contact with the air and we’re sweating to cool the body. When you’re submerged in water, the sweat mechanisms aren’t efficient.

Regardless, in addition to relaxation, there are great benefits to the heat!

From a happy shopping club member:

“It’s always kind of satisfying when you get actual proof that your supplements are doing what they’re supposed to do.”

Here’s the backstory…

Last year, I stopped taking most of my usual supplements—part of some health testing I was doing. I didn’t want anything messing with the results (long story…).

So when my annual bloodwork rolled around in March 2025, I really shouldn’t have been surprised… but I kind of was. My cholesterol and triglycerides were way up. Not ideal. I’d hoped the parathyroidectomy last fall would help normalize things, but no such luck. To top it off, my liver enzymes had climbed too. That one caught me off guard.

At that point, I didn’t hesitate. I got back on my trusted supplements—the ones I know work for my body—and gave it eight weeks before retesting.

The results? Cholesterol, triglycerides and liver numbers dropped beautifully. In fact, they’re even better than they were before I stopped everything in 2024.

I won’t be stopping again.”

Can you even believe it?

When your family sized load of laundry calls for less laundry detergent than your cookie recipe calls for vanilla…you know you’re going to be saving money. To be exact, this load takes two teaspoons of detergent per large load. My cookie recipe calls for two and one half teaspoons per batch.

It’s certainly a small amount of detergent, yet my clothes and linens always come out super clean.

Why should I pay for water-filled detergents when the machine adds water already? And, why should you?

Pasta: Did you know…

When pasta is cooked and then cooled for 24 hours, its starch structure changes. Some of the digestible starch becomes resistant starch, which the body processes more slowly. This not only helps reduce blood sugar spikes but also feeds good gut bacteria, working as a natural prebiotic.

Reheating the cooled pasta actually amplifies the effect. Studies suggest this simple trick—cook, cool, and reheat—can cut the glycemic impact of pasta by up to 50%. It’s a small shift in meal prep with big benefits for blood sugar control and gut health.

Why I use the products I do

When people ask why I use the brands I use, I always reply because they are safer for me and my home.
I don’t dust by the cheapest item on the store shelves, I try to buy the best I can afford for my budget. I take into account quality, how long products will last and how they affect my health. For me it’s a simple choice to try to live a healthier lifestyle. When I’m asked for more details, I often refer friends, family and acquaintances to this link so they can see what I see for themselves. Once you switch stores, there is no going back.
