Cindy’s Story I grew up like most people—using all the familiar store-bought cleaners for my home, dishes, laundry, and even personal care. I was also exposed to secondhand smoke from birth and later became a smoker myself (thankfully, I quit after 10 years). I now live with emphysema. About 14 years ago, a friend from church told me about The Wellness Company. I figured I’d give it a try and started with the Value Pack. Little by little, I swapped out the products I was used to—and I was amazed. Everything I tried worked better than what I had been using!
Then, a couple of years in, I had a moment I’ll never forget. I walked into my house and was hit with a STRONG smell of bleach—turns out my roommate couldn’t find the Tub & Tile cleaner and grabbed an old bottle of Scrubbing Bubbles I thought I’d tossed. He was cleaning upstairs, and I could smell it all the way downstairs. That was my wake-up call.
I’m so thankful I made the switch when I did—not just for my own lungs, but for my pets too. If you’re still using harsh chemicals or are living with COPD or similar conditions, please consider making a change. Safer products do make a difference. Your life could depend on it—mine certainly does.
Did you know that Febreze could literally be one of the most dangerous products in your home?
Just because you or your family members haven’t had an outward reaction like the ones in the photos, it doesn’t mean the product isn’t causing harm to you or your loved ones 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 single 𝙙𝙖𝙮.
Did you know that there are 80 toxic chemicals found in Febreze? I didn’t.
What you need to understand that the product does not remove odor molecules; your nose just can’t perceive them over the chemical product’s smell—that supposedly “freshens” the air in your home. That alone should be your first warning. Who wants to be inhaling chemicals and lung irritants??
Here are just a few of the toxins you’ll find in Febreze.
BHT – Known as a neurotoxin and endocrine disruptor. Can cause immunotoxicity, non-reproductive organ system toxicity, skin eye and lung irritator

There are many more ingredients on the label, but by know you have to agree the product can damage your and your family’s health. I’m just here to remind you that there are 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 for your 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬. I use them every day.
I love where i shop and have for the past 20-plus years. Let me know if you’s like to join me on this healthy path.
I just received a panicked phone call from a new dad and Wellness Store shopper because the lid to the Koala Pals Baby Bathcame off while bathing his daughter and it got on her face, in her eyes and she may have ingested some.
I promptly told him to call poison control.
Poison control looked up the product and said “She’s fine with that product.”
Yep! they mean it when they safer for your home…little baby was soapy, but safe.
No lawsuits or recalls or babies poisoned This isn’t because kids don’t get into the products or because accidents don’t happen, but because these products are SAFE!
I like to say I only use the best! This baby wash comes from the same online Wellness store where I buy all of my household products and my beef. When you know better, you do better for your family.
When people ask why I use the brands I use, I always reply because they are safer for me and my home. I don’t dust by the cheapest item on the store shelves, I try to buy the best I can afford for my budget. I take into account quality, how long products will last and how they affect my health. For me it’s a simple choice to try to live a healthier lifestyle. When I’m asked for more details, I often refer friends, family and acquaintances to this link so they can see what I see for themselves. Once you switch stores, there is no going back.
If you knew what was actually in the products under your sink… you’d throw them out TODAY.
For example, Bleach is linked to asthma. I should know as bleach “takes my breath away” in the form of an asthma attack
The term, “Fragrance” can legally hide over 3,000 untested chemicals.
What is surprising, the average American home has more toxins than a landfill.—and most families have no idea.
I switched my entire home over to a private, American-made wellness store—and I’ve never looked back. No middlemen. No toxins. No fear. Today I’m helping families just like mine get started.
Did you know toxins can be found in many brand name Fabric Softeners:? It’s true. I was surprised when I found out that one potentially carcinogenic chemicals could be in my laundry. Clothing and blankets that touch our skin and who doesn’t inhale that fresh clean fabric scent? Her’s a list of chemicals that can be found in Snuggles brand fabric softener:
• Alpha-Terpineol – Linked to disorders of the brain and nervous system, loss of muscle control, depression, and headaches • Benzyl acetate – Linked to cancer of the pancreas • Benzyl alcohol – Linked to headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, depression, and disorders of the brain and nervous system. • Chloroform- Listed on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list as a carcinogen and neurotoxin (toxic to the brain and nervous system) •Ethanol –Listed on the EPA’s Hazardous Waste list for its ability to cause brain and nervous system disorder • Ethyl Acetate – Causes headaches and is on the EPA Hazardous Waste list • Linalool – Causes loss of muscle coordination, nervous system and brain disorders, and depression • Pentane – Causes headaches nausea, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, and depression
I just want you to know Safer options are a switch away.
Since I switched stores nearly 15 years ago, I enjoy clean living, clean eating and having a safer and healthier home without toxic chemicals. Switching to healthier products improved my and my family’s health and now, recent studies have shown that many popular everyday products can be toxic to many individuals, especially women.
Why?
Because cleaning your home with common, well-known grocery store products made with ammonia, and chlorine bleach, quaternary disinfectant compounds, and other dangerous chemicals significantly damages lung tissue in women—who are usually the home’s primary housekeeper.
The study also showed that cleaning with such products as little as once per week over time was as damaging to respiratory health as smoking a pack of cigarettes a day for 20 years!
Are you really aware of what you are exposing your family to on a daily basis?
