MISSION IN MOTION!

Y’all! In the 20.5 years I’ve been with my company there is not ONE natural disaster on US soil that they haven’t RUN INTO with boots on the ground helping where the community needs it most. When Hurricanes Ian and Nichole hit our area, they sent a plane full of volunteer firemen from Idaho with chainsaws & generators. Then they filled the local food distribution sites with hydration drinks and protein bars. Tens of thousands of dollars poured into our community. Every hurricane, every flood, every fire, every tornado, every single event, They show up.

Now…Texas communities are receiving supplies…from hand sanitizer, non-toxic mold removal cleaner, protein bars, personal care items….whatever the community needs, they are there.

It is the one foundation/non profit that I donate generously to every single month because I know that 100% of the money is going to the cause…not to run it. I am so proud to be part of a company who lives out our mission statement in ALL that we do!

Is Your Yogurt A Healthy Choice?

A Tale of Three Yogurts: Which is Ultra Processed?

Ultra-Processed (Never Eat)

Choose a yogurt that is organic, has minimal ingredients (Ideally just milk and cultures), has no added sugar and says “Live Active Cultures” on the label.

𝙏𝙍𝙄𝙂𝙂𝙀𝙍 𝙒𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂

II don’t normally address rumors, but this one? It’s too important for me to ignore. Millions benefit from this store and the misinformation needs to stop.

Sidenote: I hear about this very little these days but even a couple of rumors over the course of 20 years is enough for me to say something. And I also want to add that I don’t condone how some people may go about sharing this store. A good tip for anybody that wants to share something they love: Be a good friend and share genuinely and authentically! But like anything else, a bad experience with a person can ruin something that’s actually really great and that sucks!

“𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙.”
Let’s be real, I love my nontoxic cleaners, but I also get Botox. I buy organic, then hit a drive-thru to avoid cooking. To those folks managing a fully nontoxic lifestyle—you never ever even have a goldfish cracker ever? I admire you! Most of us are just doing our best, and I’ll never shame anyone for choosing convenience in one area just because it’s not my area.
That said, every now and then, someone will send me an oudated article from 2013 or a random mom group post bashing the store I love. Sad fact: I don’t even share my eczema solution in those groups anymore because some people are just brutal.
Or my favorite…people trusting the EWG app, which literally gives better ratings to companies that pay them.

“𝘽𝙪𝙩 t𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙨!”
My response? “What’s your concern with fragrances?”
Because here’s the thing, the real issue is phthalates, and these products contain zero. Also zero parabens, zero formaldehyde, zero bleach, zero ammonia, zero harmful dyes. The ingredient philosophy is public. Anyone willing to read it would know the facts.

𝙈𝙊𝙍𝙀 𝙁𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙎:
A friend’s son’s severe allergies improved so much he got off meds.
I, who am allergic to almost everything, have zero issues with these products.
My eczema? Gone.
My skin? One of my most-complimented features, thanks to these products that start working from within. Gut health is important!
These product are not just safe, they’re effective, affordable, American-made from a patriot-owned store and arrive at my door within a couple of days!

A store that’s been around for 40 years with a 96% customer retention rate and an A+ BBB rating doesn’t get there by selling garbage.

𝘽𝙊𝙏𝙏𝙊𝙈 𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙀:
You have every right to dislike something. But regurgitating false rumors about a store that’s been a lifeline for so many? Nope, not a good idea..

Why Is Drinking Water So Important?

Some people say they don’t want to drink before bedtime so they don’t have to get up at night to use the bathroom.
I asked a cardiologist, “Why do people, especially old people, pee so much at night?”
His answer was: “When you stand or sit, the force of gravity holds water in your lower body. This is why legs can swell. When you lie down, your lower body seeks balance with the kidneys. So the kidneys remove the water along with the trash because then it’s easier.”

Water is essential to remove waste from your body.

According to cardiologists, the best time to drink water is best done at well-defined times to maximize efficiency
throughout the body. Here are the optimum times

  • Drink two glasses of water right after waking up to activate internal organs.
  • One glass of water 30 minutes before each meal will help improve digestion.
  • One glass of water before taking a bath (or shower) will lower blood pressure.
  • One glass of water before going to bed, will prevent a stroke or heart attack.
  • Drink water before bed TO avoid leg cramps during the night. (Your leg muscles, when you have cramps, are seeking water and moisture.)

Some people might

laugh at me because I rave about some toothpaste…if they only knew!

Sol-U-Guard to the rescue!

Today, I was wearing white pants. I was busy and when I looked down, I saw red. Yep, red ink across the thigh. of my new white pants. It was only the second time I wore these pants and was heartbroken. I didn’t have my favorite stain remover with me, so I figured the ink would be set in by the time I got home. BUT… I have a spray bottle of Sol-U-Guard at work. I wet the ink area with water, sprayed the Sol-U-Guard in the hopes it might help. The ink is GONE!!! Mind blown

Hot Day Hydration

Hot days! Over 90’s! I am getting hydrated! Here’s a Public Service Announcement for anyone melting in this 100-degree heat:

If you’re only drinking water…congratulations, it’s great. But, unfortunately, you may still pass out from heat and dehydration. What you actually need is: Electrolytes. Electrolytes are your summer lifeline. Electrolytes are not just a “gym thing.” They’re not just a “sports drink” thing. Electrolytes make sure you don’t-end-up-face-first-in-the-yard thing.

You want the holy hydration trinity:
Potassium (for muscle + heart function)
Magnesium (for cramps + mood)
Calcium (for nerve function)
Not a product with 500mg of sodium in a fluorescent blue bottle.

That’s why I like Sustain. Sustain has four electrolytes with vitamins C, E and B12! It also has six grams of sugar!
Sustain has sugar because that touch of glucose helps your cells better absorb all that hydration goodness.

If you get too much salt? You bloat.
Too little potassium? You cramp like a banshee.
No magnesium? Welcome to twitchy-town and mood swings.
If you get no electrolytes at all? Enjoy your front-row seat to heat stroke, dizziness, and possibly crying in the Kroger parking lot.

Pro tip: To hydrate properly, you need 100mg sodium and ditch the junk. You don’t need dyes, chemicals, or a sugar crash pretending to hydrate you.

After all, Hydration isn’t just water. It’s electrically charged survival.

That’s why I drink Sustain.

What Is ADDED Sugar?

Added sugar refers to sugars added to foods or beverages during processing, preparation or at the table verses sugars naturally present in the food. Some examples are:

  • Table sugar (sucrose)
  • High fructose corn syrup (HFCS)
  • Honey
  • Molasses
  • Corn sweetener
  • Fruit juice concentrates

In other words, added sugar is any sugar that is not naturally found in the food but is added to sweeten or enhance its flavor. It is important to note that natural sugars, such as those found in fruits and milk, are not considered added sugar.

So, give second thought to purchasing items that fall within these categories when you’re at the grocery store. Be very careful and read the nutritional label for hidden ingredients!
