Magnesium and Anxiety

The correlation between magnesium and anxiety is so strong that researchers can intentionally induce anxiety in lab animals by depriving them of magnesium. Cruel, I know….but it’s true.

Magnesium is critical for hundreds of metabolic functions, yet fewer than half of us get adequate magnesium from the food we eat and most choose a low absorbing form.

Low levels of magnesium in the body can increase stress, and high levels of physical or mental stress can lower magnesium. So supplementing is critical.

When purchasing a magnesium supplement, look for:

  • Maximum Bioavailability (If it doesn’t say it, it doesn’t have it)
  • Added B6 for better absorption (read the label)

I love mine because it’s a powder instead of a capsule, so I just toss it in my lemonade! If you need help with trusted resources, let me know!

Are you reading your labels? Maybe you should!

At the beginning of this year, the USDA established some new rules for labeling on controversial modified crops and ingredients. Previously, these rules varied state by state and now there is a more universal approach to labeling “BE’s”.

Simply put, bioengineered food is any food that’s been genetically modified, or GMO’s. Below is a small taste of some of our food supply that has been are genetically modified/bioengineered, but I could post dozens of foods.

These actually say that they are BE in tiny letters but many others don’t. They can just put a BE seal, a QR code that you have to scan or a phone number.

Most children’s cereals, PopTarts, Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, Dannon Light & Fit yogurt,

Believe it or not, even Argo Baking Powder has bioengineered ingredients in it.

This is a controversial subject. Some feel strongly about it, while the government will tell you GMO’s are safe.

20 year anniversary

This month marks 20 years of my partnering with the Best American Manufacturing Company a person could be blessed to find. How about you? Do you want to shop for better, safer, more natural products for your family? It truely couldn’t be easier!

My natural insect repellant

Living in Florida, I’ve discovered that I can’t live without this product!
I use it whenever I go to the yard to water the plants—several times a week!
All natural with no chemicals so it’s even safe to spray on pets —and I do, every time
Pinot and I go to the park, we both get a spray! He doesn’t mind it either.
Since you never know when it will come in handy, I even carry one in my car!

Oven Melamagic

I love Melamagic’s degreasing, heavy duty deep cleaning effects. But, dislike the need to make a sink or bucketful to use it. This is an amazing product that actually works like —well, magic!

Today was lets clean the oven day and I thought I’d try something different. I put the product (mixed as directed) into a sprayer bottle I found under the kitchen sink.

I sprayed my broiler pan, let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. Then I did a light scrub just to kind of scratch up the residue and sprayed a little more. I did not let it dry. Twenty to thirty minutes later I rubbed it with a soft scouring pad and rinsed it under hot water. Anything that didn’t come off easily with a light scrub got to sit a while longer. Then I did a final scrub, a final rinse and wiped all surfaces until rag came back clean. After cleaning the broiler pan I couldn’t stop—I cleaned the stove and most used frying pan!

The best part is there were no harmful fumes or chemicals released into the air. Safer for your lungs and for your family. There is no better reasons than family to join the Wellness Club, and convert your entire home and lifestyle over to wellness!!!
