It’s true! Now that we are on our R3 challenge, here’s a great recipe for healthy eating!
I’ve learned that I can’t trust the beef in the grocery stores. Our Publix does not sell USDA Prime anymore because it’s just too expensive with today’s economy. I insist that my beef be:
USDA Prime or High Choice
Raised here in the US with:
No Antibiotics EVER and……
No Hormones EVER and….
Grass fed
If you eat beef, and want to learn about a great resource that I trust, let me know and we’ll get you the proper info.
GMO Foods. They are laced with pesticides and viruses that get transferred to our bodies. Overwhelming research shows that GMO’s cause not only leaky gut syndrome, heightened food allergies, autoimmunedisease, and a number of inflammatory health issues. Go organic as much as possible.
2. Antibiotics. Antibiotics, steroids, over the counter pain relievers can irritate the intestinal lining and damage protective mucus layers. This irritation can start or continue the inflammation cycle that leads to intestinal permeability.
3. Gluten. Gluten can irritate leaky gut syndrome by damaging the gut lining, making it more porous and susceptible to leakages. Glutencan also cause inflammation in the gut, further contributing to the leaky gut syndrome.
4. Processed Sugar. Sugar reduces beneficial bacteria leading to a leaky gut syndrome. Sugar feeds yeast or which leads to Candida overgrowth, which can lead to Leaky Gut.
5.Dairy. A majority of people are sensitive to dairy and they don’t even realize it. This means that they cannot digest the proteins (casein and whey) or sugar (lactose) found in milk. If your body cannot digest these, then it causes intestinal distress. Over time, continued consumption of dairy may cause damage to your gut.
When was tested for food allergies, that’s when I learned that I am highly allergic to WHEY PROTEIN.The stomach pain I was experiencing was my body was working overtime internally, to deal with it. Leaky Gut is more common that we realize. It pays to pay attention to what we are consuming and to what our body is telling us!
Millions of North Americans should be concerned about keeping their blood glucose levels in balance for optimal energy and wellness. Understanding what blood glucose is and what it does in your body is key to helping you and your customers understand your wellness needs.
Glucose is the main form of energy your body uses. The carbohydrates you eat end up breaking down into glucose for your body to use. It is carried to your cells by the bloodstream. Insulin helps move glucose from the blood into the cells so it can be used for energy. When you blood sugar is balanced, your energy levels are stable throughout the day. We have improved concentration and focus and are less likely to experience mood swings or other similar negative effects. Eating a balanced diet supported with supplementation and staying active helps your body use glucose efficiently, keeping you energetic and healthy!

I lost over 100 pounds in 2022 using my Company’s R3 program for a healthier style of eating. I still follow the plan and the weight hasn’t found its way back to me — and it never will. I am now working on the final 20 pounds.
“Walking Meditation” creates an additional purpose so that walking is more than just exercise. Walking meditation bridges the gap between physical activity and mental stillness. It syncs each step with your breath, bringing awareness to the sensation of movement, and the touch of your feet on the ground.
How to Practice Walking Meditation
Find a Suitable Location: A quiet park, beach, or even a secluded path in your backyard can work.
Start with Intention: Begin by standing still, taking a few deep breaths, and setting your intention for the walk.
Sync with Your Breath: With each step, inhale and exhale. For instance, take three steps while inhaling and three while exhaling.
Stay Present: Focus on the sensation of your feet lifting off, moving through the air, and making contact with the ground.
Mindful Observation: Observe your surroundings—the chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, or the breeze on your face.
Benefits of Walking Meditation
Enhances mindfulness and concentration.
Offers physical benefits of walking, like improved circulation and cardiovascular health.
Helps in grounding and connecting with nature.
Acts as a refreshing break from the routine of seated meditation
This morning, I was watching the news and saw a commercial for Dupixent for eczema and sin rash. Most of the people in the commercial were kids, aged 12 or younger. I understand when your kids are suffering, you ache for them to feel better — often medication like Dupixent is prescribed.
For myself, I found an alternative doe my eczema with a few simple changes to products tI use everyday with no new hit to my budget.
These two products — Melapower Detergent and Renew Lotio — from the online Wellness shopping club where I shop monthly have made a difference for me and I no longer use Dupixent. My eczema has been alleviated with this laundry detergent and this skin lotion. Neither contains formaldehyde, parabens, chlorine bleach or other chemicals..I do think it’s important to get chemicals out of your home. What we breathe and what we apply to our skin is important. I’ve personally seen the difference.
