Osteoporosis means “Porous Bones”. It’s a disease that weakens bones, and once you have it, you’re at a greater risk for sudden and unexpected bone fractures. Osteoporosis means that you have less bone mass and strength. The disease often develops without any symptoms or pain, and it is usually not discovered until the weakened bones cause painful fractures. Most of these are fractures of the hip, wrist and spine.
The precursor to Osteoporosis inΒ Osteopenia. If you are slender, of Northern European descent, and fair-skinned or blonde, you are most likely a poster child for Osteopenia. It’s very important to be proactive by making healthy lifestyle choices. Not smoking or misusing substances also decreases your risk. Vitamin supplements that contribute to bone health, such as vitamin D, calcium, and vitamin K should also be a staple in your diet to avoid bone weakness later in life.
Whether you have osteopenia or osteoporosis, you can build your bone density back up. Lifting weights, participating in pilates and strength training will help to promote new bone growth and maintain existing bone structure.Β
However, if you are on a drug like Fosamax or Boniva, they STOP your body’s natural ability to produce bone.Β Those drugs do produce bone but a very poor quality bone with a high probability for breaking later.
Having worked marketing some of these pharmaceuticals, and reading the Physicians Information (PI), I personally would refuse to take those drugs. I would opt to improve my bone health naturallyβfocusing on proper exercise, nutrition and supplementation.
I believe in taking a proactive approach to my healthcare. I fully respect the medical community, but I came to realize that we need to do our own due diligence when it comes to health. Medication is necessary at times, but there is so much more we can do proactively, especially for preventionβtaking the right, proven supplements that could make the difference..
This article is a good one regarding your options for osteoporosis. PYou have a choice. Be educated.

This is one tip that Iβve used in my home for several years now.
MelaBoost is a laundry fragrance booster that my entire family loves. When the bottle is empty, I fill it up halfway with water and give it a good shake. I mix a few capfuls of rubbing alcohol with it to help it evaporate after I spraying. I had a spare Reivie spray bottle so I decided to use that and wrote βBoostβ on the side so I know what I’m grabbing.
So now you are probably wondering, what the heck do I use it for? Well, this is the best way to use every last drop of MelaBoost and I use it as a room refresher spray on soft surfaces, such as the couch; carpet; curtains; blankets; dog beds; and beds. It helps everything smell like heaven and not a a drop of this goodness is wasted!
Give it a try, you can thank me later.

The nutrition industry is unregulated.Β
That means that companies can advertise a claim, even if they have never tested on that claim. Or they can twist the claims so you think you are getting more out of a product than you are.
For example, you might see a product in the store that claims “Improves inflammation” when the product has never been tested for inflammation.
How can they can get away with that? As long as they have anΒ INGREDIENTΒ that has clinical proof of improving inflammation, then they can say that.
How can you know what’s true? Pay attention to what the label (or commercial) actually says. On a commercial, you’ll probably hearΒ “clinically proven ingredients”Β instead ofΒ “clinically proven to improve”.Β
My suggestion is to look for these two qualities when you shop for supplements:
Without these two claims of proof, chances are you are wasting your money on your supplements. Shop carefully! There are good resources out there. Feel free to check this out: https://healthyproducts.info/

Our habits (good or bad) can, and do, pass on to our children and our grandchildren.
What can we teach our next generation?
What can you do to help our next generation?

Cholesterol is wrongly demonized. It is actually essential for life and health, that is why our body makes it. Cholesterol is aΒ fat-like, waxy substanceΒ that helps your body make cell membranes, many hormones, and vitamin D. The cholesterol in your blood comes from two sources: the foods you eat and your liver. Sugars and carbs and insulin is what makes it a problem, not fats.

Natural remedies are the best if at all possible!
Don’t believe the big box store brands when they say they are safer!!
