Are You Getting Your Daily Dose of Vitamin D?

I know I do!

Research suggests a strong association between cancer and low vitamin D levels. When the sun’s rays hit the skin, the skin cells are able to manufacture Vitamin D. Just 15 minutes a day of sun exposure can make a BIG difference in your levels AND your mood!

Collagen Boost

It’s a happy day for me.After my weight loss, my skin looked all “wrinkly” especially on my upper arms and legs.

You know, the skin right above your knees? Well, today, I noticed that the skin on my upper legs is smoother and tighter!

Could it be? Could it be the Collagen Boost making the difference in a month? It’s amazing! It’s working!
I haven’t changed anything else! I’m still following R3, exercising almost daily, drinking lots of water, taking Peak Performance Total Longevity! My upper arms are looking better too.

I know it’s the Collagen Boost! I’m a believer!

Sunscreen and collagen ? Yes, please!

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid found in certain algae. (It’s what gives salmon, lobsters, and flamingoes their pinkish color!!)

This antioxidant is 6,000 times more potent than Vitamin C; 560 times more potent than green tea; and
800 times more potent than CoQ10, providing the highest level of protection for your brain, heart, eyes, skin and entire body!

Astaxanthin protects the skin against the damage associated with sun exposure—because of its potent antioxidant properties, it neutralizes the free radicals produced by the sun’s rays and prevents the typical damage caused by sunburn.

Astaxanthin has an impressive ability to help skin manage photodamage by promoting new skin cells, elastin, and collagen production. But it doesn’t replace topical sunscreen—you still need to use that every two to three hours.

Taking astaxanthin daily can:

• Improve skin elasticity

• Reduce age spots and wrinkles

• Protect cells against UVA-induced skin damage

• Work as an internal sunscreen

It’s a great supplement to take in the summer, but the health benefits are good year-round!

Like this if you love the sun and your skin!

My magnesium results are in!

Did you know the general thought is that you use less than 10% of the minerals in supplements off the store shelf?

For eight months, I faithfully took the popular Calm Magnesium every night per my nutritionist’s direction. When my online wellness shopping club introduced MelaOut a short while ago— being the hopeless, trusting fan of my club that I am, I switched immediately.

The decision was easy because I understand the Oligo technology used with the minerals in their supplements; I knew I would be getting much more magnesium than before. Ten times more magnesium in proven studies. About two weeks ago I began drinking a glass of Melaout daily.

𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙊𝙪𝙩, 𝙄 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠:

• my blood (dystolic) pressure dropped 20-30 points.  No other healthy habit had helped for about five years.
• my night time leg cramps (which are often due to poor calcium intake or dehydration – but not my issue) STOPPED.
• Too much information, I know, but my colon was no longer irritated (from Calm).

So many supplements on the store shelf are not worth their money!  (I have stories!) If my wellness shopping  club cannot do something better for a reasonable price— they just don’t do it.  I’m glad they figured this one out.

How much daily fiber do you get?

Too often doctors don’t understand …

and that’s why they diagnose it ‘Dermatitis’, which is a general term for a common skin irritation. But eczema is really so much more than that. I’ve lived with some form of eczema my entire life and here are some ways to keep your skin irritations at bay:

1. Don’t scratch!—Scratching releases histamines and that just causes it to itch more.

2. Don’t use Hydrocortizone creams—Hydrocortizone creams thin out your skin and make you more prone to skin cancer. There are many side effects such as nausea, headache, and menstrual changes. NEVER apply to broken skin.

3. Know your laundry detergent_—”Scent free” or “Clear” laundry detergents are not the solution. Why? Removing scents and dyes may help, but the REAL problem is the caustic ingredients that are still in there. Caustic ingredients are the biggest offenders for those with eczema, but national brands will not remove them because that’s the old fashioned way for detergents to work: quick, fast and irritating to the skin. So look for ‘Non-Caustic, Non-Toxic’ laundry detergents. Your best ones will promote a “NO” list to these ingredients.

4. Evaluate everything that touches your body—It’s not just laundry detergent. It’s your hair care, skin care, lotions, etc. It you are buying store bought brands, your skin is exposed to formaldehyde, parabens, phthalates and synthetic dyes. Again, look for private brands that put in print they do not use these ingredients.

5. Get your gut health in order—Believe it or not, eczema starts in the gut, so look for a probiotic that offers at least 10 billion flora in each capsule and covers eight or nine strains.

6. Stay in front of it with the proper topical treatments—I’m passionate about this because I’ve helped so many people find the right solutions. Look for clinically proven products with published 3rd party clinical studies. Don’t be swayed by advertisements.

7. Don’t ignore it—One autoimmune disease can often be the gateway to more, so let me know if you need additional help with this! You and your loved ones should not suffer with eczema!

Stress Management/Sleep Management

My Wellness Shopping Club offers a magnesium that is powered by a special process and provides the most absorbable forms of magnesium and Vitamin B6 of any magnesium supplement on the market.
Vitamin B6 is added to help the body’s cells utilize magnesium.
As an asthmatic, I always new that magnesium helps to relax airways and promote blood vessel dilation to make it easier to breathe. But, I didn’t know magnesium also relieves stress; muscle tension and cramping; promotes sleep and digestive regularity. Who knew?

The sleep aid features time-release and quick-release melatonin, plus a soothing herbal blend to help you feel relaxed sooner; fall asleep faster; and stay asleep longer.

Magnesium. Who knew?
For the 50 percent of you who are low in magnesium.

Did you know that allergies, asthma and eczema all fall under the same AutoImmune Umbrella?

That’s right. If you have allergies, then you and your children have a higher propensity to develop asthma and eczema.

I was 15 when I thought I was having an allergic reaction to an eye cream. I stopped using it and it when away; so I assumed it really was the eye cream.

Eventually it came back. And it started to spread to my eyelid. So I stopped using the eyeshadow base. Must be that too, right? Nope. It was the beginning stages of eczema….. and truthfully the continuation of more autoimmune issues for me. I grew up with multiple allergies and bronchial asthma. .Although my asthma could be triggered by allergy, exercise, emotions, when it was under control, what I called those pesky allergic reactions would express themselves in other forms, like rashes, hives and eczema.

You see, Eczema starts in the GUT. It’s notarially a skin problem, it’s a gut problem. By the time a problem shows up on your skin, you’ve had an imbalance in your gut for a while. (Oh if I only knew then what I know now!)

Are you one who has “sensitive skin”? Then stay tuned for next Friday’s post to learn more on what you can do to get in front of it!

Are your store bought supplements fresh?

Have you ever wondered why there are so many yellow stickers on the vitamins at your local Walgreens or CVS?
It’s because store vitamins can lose their potency sitting on a shelf for six months or more.

For the pass 19 years my nutritional supplement pack has been delivered fresh to my door. My supplements and vitamins ave a unique patented delivery system called Oligo which helps to deliver the minerals and nutrients more efficiently to my body’s cells. What’s even more remarkable is that my supplements have an 85% absorption rate.
