I went down this aisle looking for a dust bin.  Yup – I went down the wrong aisle. But, in my defense I only go down the cleaning aisle maybe twice a year, if that much.

I couldn’t believe how quickly my head started throbbing, my nose started running and I started wheezing from all of these nasty chemical-based products.  

It also amazes me how many people still use these big name brand products. Maybe it is the catchy songs on the commercials.  Or, the awesome actors/actresses (who they pay big).  But guys and gals – this stuff is poison for your body. It is toxic for you, your family and your fur babies.  

Google “Lung Study”. (or just click here) It is a 20-year study showing that cleaning just once a week with the name brands causes as much damage to your lungs as smoking a pack of cigarettes a DAY! 

That is just plain crazy.

Is your brand safe?

I try my best to use natural, non-toxic products and encourage others to do the same for their  health and for the environment.

 In the photo, the one on the left kills 99.9% of viruses when used as directed. The one on the right (the one I use) kills 99.9% of viruses when used as directed. 

The one on the left damages your lungs—the damage is similar to smoking a pack of cigarettes every day. The one on the right is a plant-based disinfectant with ZERO harsh chemicals and is safe to use around food. 

 The one on the left needs to be rinsed off before anyone touches the surfaces on which it was applied.The one on the right is safe to use on food surfaces.

 The one on the left costs $12.46 for a 24 ounce bottle. The one on the right makes TWO 24 ounce bottles and is $10.49. Added up it’s a total savings of $14.43!

I don’t understand why people are so loyal to the one on the left but I DO UNDERSTAND why 20,000 Americans make the switch to my favorite store every single month. 

 Think about it, all of the products are:
Made in North America. 
Better. 
Safer. 
Cleaner. 
More affordable. 
Better for the planet.
Delivered to me Amazon-speed without the layoffs. 

Shopping Stress

Definitely not enough staff in the stores these days, but the managers tell me that they cannot find people to hire so……who knows? I shop at three different stores for what is on sale, so I often make three trips, I can do that because I have a car.  If another store offers a special price on one of my staple items, I may need to make a fourth store visit. 

But when I shop for my cleaners, personal care items, vitamins supplements), I head to my online wholesale shopping club  as it has the best quality and  prices and I don’t have to drive. Plus, I now get my beef from this club too!  I order online and it is delivered right to my door.  

What do I get?
I get hormone-free, antibiotic-free, grass-fed, premium beef.. 
Non-toxic, safe, effective cleaners and high-quality personal care items.

Here’s a reality check: a 20-year independent study found that using common household cleaners, including chlorine bleach, as little as once a week damaged lung capacity as much as smoking a pack of cigarettes every day for 20 years!

There’s a safer way to clean. Tub & Tile melts away soap scum and hard water spots with safer ingredients such as citric acid, like that found in lemons. No harsh fumes or abrasives, so you can clean without compromise!

Here’s today’s healthy PSA: I would love to have all my friends and family to have access to the online shopping store that I’ve been using to buy non toxic products and limit my shopping trips to the store.
I’m so happy I found a healthy shopping club 19 years ago.

PSA: FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS USE BLEACH OR LYSOL  

People are cleaning with harsh harmful chemicals unaware of the dangers of exposure to these toxic chemicals. These toxins are compromising your families immune systems and causing lung damage. I personally can’t tolerate harsh smells or chemicals as they trigger my asthma and cause severe shortness of breath. 

Bleach bio-accumulates in the body. Your body can’t detoxify it.  I find that scary. And, Lysol is a known carcinogen similar to Agent Orange. 

You know, there are effective healthy options, like my shopping club, it’s like a healthy grocery store with an Amazon delivery system. 

I use a product called Soluguard Botanical instead of Lysol and Bleach. It is EPA registered, patented and kills 99.9% of the germs on contact with thyme oil and citric acid.  You can spray away around the kids and even food. A plus is that it’s always in stock (with the just-in-time manufacturing process) and comes directly to your door. I love buying organic and toxin free cleaners for my home.  You might too.

It’s never too late to make a change. 

Yesterday, I replaced my printer’s ink

Yesterday, I replaced my printer’s ink cartridge with a generic ink brand company.
Well, I won’t try that again because it dripped onto my floor! At first, I thought it was a piece of black paper so I tried to pick it up and to my dismay, discovered it was cyan ink! Worse still, when I touched it it spread!
So, it was Sol-U-Mel to the rescue!
Blotted the floor with a towel and diluted Sol-U-Mel. What do you think? As you can see the towel has more than one little spot. But the carpet is perfect.
Gotta love Sol-u-mel!
