Relief for troubled skin

This morning, I was watching the news and saw a commercial for Dupixent for eczema and sin rash. Most of the people in the commercial were kids, aged 12 or younger. I understand when your kids are suffering, you ache for them to feel better — often medication like Dupixent is prescribed.

For myself, I found an alternative doe my eczema with a few simple changes to products tI use everyday with no new hit to my budget.

These two products — Melapower Detergent and Renew Lotio — from the online Wellness shopping club where I shop monthly have made a difference for me and I no longer use Dupixent. My eczema has been alleviated with this laundry detergent and this skin lotion. Neither contains formaldehyde, parabens, chlorine bleach or other chemicals..I do think it’s important to get chemicals out of your home. What we breathe and what we apply to our skin is important. I’ve personally seen the difference.

Get Out Your Blender!

Now that fall is here and it is pale picking season, I’ve got a quick, yummy recipe for an Apple Pie smoothie made with Green Apple FiberWise. Get the day off to a great start!

My online shopping club

The value of my shopclub is truly unparalleled. They deliver my Peak Performance Pack, complete with the Oligo patent, right to my doorstep. This pack provides minerals and nutrients with an impressive 85% absorption rate into my cells. This is crucial because I understand that healthy cells lead to healthy organs and tissues, and so forth. Prevention truly begins from the inside out. Every morning, I get fresh, nutritional supplements, not like my former store brands that can sit in storage for six to twelve months or more.

I love the “just in time” manufacturing process. I’d love to tell you more about this great company!

It’s that time of year

Make sure you are building up your immune system and using products that don’t damage your lungs or give you other underlying conditions.

J like to use product that I feel are safe for me my home and my family.

These are a few favorite back-to-school essentials I recommend:

• Sol-U-Guard Botanical Wipes — This product kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on hard, nonporous surfaces. It replaces the more toxic Chlorox and Lysol brand wipes.

• Sol-U-Mel — Sol-U-Mel removes stains from items like Sharpie markers, juices, chocolate and wine. It’s great for cleaning white boards.

Both products are non-toxic and eco-friendly.

• Activate-C Immune Complex — Similar to Airborne and other Vitamin C powders but takes it a step further with 1200mg of Vitamin C! Most of the other brands show they contain only 1000mg. Activate-C also comes in orange and reminds me of my childhood favorite — Tang. This Activate Immune Complex boosts your body’s immune system naturally as well.

• Vitamin D3 — This vitamin supports a healthy immune system as well as bone health and overall mood.

• Luminex — A natural alternative, Luminex promotes emotional health, a balanced mood, and general well being..

Mela-Out — containing magnesium, Mela-Out reduces stress, increases calmness and can help you sleep better.

I love that the products I buy from my Wellness store are made in the USA and shipped straight to my door in two to three days.

Love it!

Considering working for yourself?

Another company filed for bankruptcy, and it’s devastating to witness. When considering joining a business, choose one with stability and long-term vision. Make sure you’re asking all the important questions — it truly matters.

After all, you’re interviewing that company to see if they meet your standards. There are several factors to consider when joining a business

Check the company for the following:
• Is it Financially Secure — Debt-Free Stability
• Is it a Proven Success — Decades of Longevity
• Does it have an Established Reputation — A Strong Track Record
• Is it an Industry Leader — Does it have a Competitive Edge?

THREE MYTHS ABOUT SOY

Myth #1: Soy Causes Cancer. Because soy isaflavones have a similar chemical structure to human estrogen, people battling hormone-related cancers were encouraged to avoid soy. But over 2000 peer reviewed studies have confirmed that soy can actually reduce the side effects of cancer and reduce the likelihood of it returning.

Myth #2: Soy Inhibits Thyroid Function. In the past, research suggested soy consumption could have a negative effect on thyroid function. However, in those studies, what was more commonly identified was the deficiency in iodine levels combined with the soy intake.
In summary, more iodine (and not less soy) is what is needed to maintain thyroid function.

Myth #3: Soy Does Not Help With Heart Health. In 2017, the FDA reversed their position on soy and heart health, thereby declaring that soy did not help with heart health. In fact, an analysis published in the Journal of the American Heart Association concluded that soy is heart-healthy and that it lowers LDL “bad” cholesterol that can increase the risk for heart disease.

Being Frugal

Who else here is frugal?

I sure am! I cut open bottles to get every last drop.

This lotion took me a year to use up because I bought two—one for upstairs and one for downstairs. It’s great for eczema and rosacea, but I just love that it keeps my hands soft even after washing, and it kills germs with just one application.

Clean savings!

I don’t know about you but my frugal self will always try to save money wherever I can—especially with this crazy inflation.

Last year, I happily purchases some household goods from my favorite online wellness store. The package arrived two days later. My favorite product wa part of the order it comes in concentrated form. This small bottle concentrate costs $6.99, but when mixed as directed, makes six spray bottles of full-strength cleaner. This makes it so economical— at $1.16 per spray bottle. That’s less than what you’d pay at the Dollar Tree.

It’s time for me to reorder this all-purpose cleaner and I still don’t have to go to the store for it and I know it will be here in two or three days.

I love these kind of savings!
